Everyone needs a good pants suit in their closet. It is an essential for a any working professional. A good pants suit fits and flatter in all the right places, the sleeves and pants should be an appropriate length. An ill fitting suit is just unacceptable in a professional setting. Therefore you must find the perfect pant suit.
I recently had to attend a professional meeting off campus for my job. While I have other items in my closet that would have been appropriate, this meeting called for the perfect pant suit in my opinion. I love pant suits, but unfortunately I don’t actually have any.
I know what you’re thinking how can you talk about the perfect pants suit and you don’t have one? As a religious thrift shopper finding a great fitting suit can be a challenge. But who says your suit has to be an actual suit? If you pair it correctly then no one will ever know. Obviously you have to match your colors up, you can’t have a dark brown pant with a light brown jacket. This only applies if you want it to actually look like a matching suit.
Pant suits can become very expensive, if you want it to look and fit great as well. This two piece black suit is something I pieced together from my past thrift store shopping sprees, lol. Although they are not by the same designers this looks like a legit pant suit. In my opinion black will be the easiest to piece together as far as closely matching the colors
In conclusion, a pant suit is just a jacket and pant, in my opinion it doesn’t have to be by the same designer or brand to look legit. As a working professional have you found the perfect pant suit or have you pieces one together like me? Leave a comment below.
