Retro Queen- Francis Mini Dress

Happy Friday! Another work week gone and the weekend is ours to conquer. Planning to work on some blog post and record a couple of videos this weekend. I’ve been invited to a super bowel party I’m not huge football fan, but hey free food and friends can’t go wrong with that. If you’ve been following for awhile you know I’m drawn to retro styles. I have posted a couple of post here and here showcasing some vintage clothing I have styled.

I found this brown Francis mini dress at my favorite consignment shop, Zoe’s in Forest Park. If you live in Birmingham, Al or come and visit you must stop at this shop. I found this dress along with some other great pieces. The design was what drew me to this dress, its architectural structure and it’s symmetry from the three buttons. Let’s not forget it also has pocket, who doesn’t love pockets!

This dress is light weight enough to be worn during the spring and fall seasons as well.  Alabama weather was a cold 51 degrees so, I paired it with a long sleeve collarless off white shirt and brown tights.

These Nine West calf length boots were a great find at the thrifts store, they were purchased over 3 years ago practically brand new.

By wearing a collarless shirt it didn’t take away from the neck line detail and showcases the design. In conclusion, I am  in love with this dress and it will surely be a staple in my closet. What are your plans this weekend, will you be partaking in the super bowel madness as well? 1. Love the dress!! Very cute. I’m becoming more and more of a “neutral colors” kind of person, so I could definitely see myself wearing that!! 🙂
