Wild Wednesday’s : Dahlonega Spa Resort Review

Welcome to another Wild Wednesday! This week I am sharing my Amazing Spa Weekend from last month! I have always wanted to go on a Spa Trip, so I treated myself to an amazing relaxing weekend at the Dahlonega Spa Resort in Dahlonega, Georgia! Of course since I am on a debt free journey my budget was limited.

As a full-time employed mother, blogger and YouTuber, I can get burned out rather quickly. So when I saw this spa getaway on Groupon I had to snatch it up!  I talk about being on a budget and still being able to travel in my post on  How To Travel On a Budget!  Check it out to learn how I can travel even with a strict budget. The Dahlonega Spa Resort is a little piece of heaven, located in the Blue Ridge Mountains, near Atlanta, Georgia.Once I saw it, I knew I had to book it. So here is the rundown of this beautiful Resort.

The Main House

When I say this is my dream house, large porch, rocking chairs and wind chimes, who could ask for more! The view was so amazing and peaceful. Every morning they served complementary  breakfast you could eat on the porch!

The resort has 23 guest rooms all with a private bath and walk-in shower and they are pet friendly! I love how each room has no phones or televisions, it helps get you away from the everyday hustle and bustle in your life! Don’t worry they do have Wifi tho, lol! They have options for you to stay in the Main House, West Wing, Cottage Rooms & Suite or Cabins. I stayed in the Cottage in room # 24 and it was nice and minimum, just what you need on a relaxing weekend getaway!

The Services

Although only the breakfast is complementary, they offer a variety of other services like, picnic lunches, yoga classes, a full eat in restaurant and more! While I did not partake in all of them I did have an amazing experience with the ones I did. First and foremost was the Spa! The main reason I went on the trip was to get a massage! I chose to get the Sea Salt Body Scrub & Deep Tissue Massage, and I must say Paige did an amazing job! If you ever visit make sure to tell everyone Keoshia sent you!

Later on that night and the next day I made sure to visit the Jacuzzi! The massage therapist actually recommends you visit the jacuzzi after getting a massage as it helps to relax the muscles more and relieve tension. They even provide you with towels out by the jacuzzi, so you don’t have to bring you own from your room!

Hiking Trail

Lastly, I made sure to get a little exercise in, just a little, lol. By walking the 1.5 mile hiking trail around the resort that leads back to the main house. You would think a trail would be over grow and just a pain to walk through with all the branches and bushes, but not this one! The view and experience was so peaceful and calming.

Stay turn for next weeks post on things to do in Dahlonega, Georgia! Overall I give the Dahlonega Spa Resort a 9/10 the stay was amazing, the staff was great and very professional. I loved the property, the services and mostly the amazing view! I will be returning to this resort whenever I need a quick and budget friendly relaxing getaway!

  1. It’s one of those Georgia hidden-gem ? Wow this looks amazing ! I like these very simple decorated rooms which seem really comfortable (big bed, crisp white sheets, fluffy pillows). What a beautiful place to go ! By the way, it looks like that you are the only person in there (nobody at the swimming pool). Did you rent the place 🙂 ?
