It’s that time of year again, the day we celebrate love! Cupid is shooting his love arrows and all is right is the world, NOT, lol! Not everyone is living the fairytail Valentines like we see on TV, some of us are single and ok with that.
So I am newly divorced after being married for 14 years. Although I have spent several Valentine Days alone during that time, it is still hard. Looking back its makes me sad to remember those sad and lonely feelings I felt on that day. But don’t be like me, it is ok to take your time to grieve a lost love or remember a failed relationship, but don’t stay there you eventually have to move on.
Music is a powerful thing! It has been in existence for a long time, and has been continuously affecting people in different ways. Music possesses the power to influence people’s moods, it inspires uplifts, heals and soothes the soul creating a relaxed feeling.
A new year gives me 365 chances to work towards my dreams. Every year I dream of all the things I want to do, places to go and adventures to have! But, like most people I don’t always get to accomplish all of them. This year, I vow to not go another year without working toward my dreams. Last year, I was able to start my dream of traveling more and having greater adventures, but some health issues prevented me from doing more. I will go into that further in another post.
Alabama was shut down due to the threat of snow, this past weekend. As a result, I was able to work a half day and make it home before all the ice and sleet became too dangerous. Once home, I immediately put on my comfy pajamas, knee high socks and picked up a good book.
